Daryna Sviatun was born in 1999 in Myronivka, Kyiv region. In 2022, she graduated from the Mykhailo Boichuk Kyiv State Academy of Decorative and Applied Arts and Design, where she studied Monumental Painting.

 

Her artistic practice is primarily focused on painting, which she approaches as a space of memory, distortion, visual noise, and digital fragility. Her research explores how contemporary visual culture shapes the ways images are remembered, preserved, transformed, and erased. Light plays a central role in her work, as does the interaction between the digital and the material within the post-digital condition.

 

She lives and works in Kyiv.
