Dasha Chechushkova Ukranian, b. 1999

Overview

She was born in 1999 in the city of Odesa. She graduated from the Odessa Art School named after M.B. Grekov, majoring in painting (2014-2018). She graduated from the 1st year of NAOMA, Free Graphics (2018-2019). Currently studying at NAOMA, ZFN Theory and History of Art (2019-2023). Resident of SRZ (Odesa and Lviv branches). Lives and works in Ukraine.

 

In his practice, he explores the relationship between people and the environment, by working with space, gathering modern folk folklore into the main media - a notebook-diary, from which the event room grows. With the help of total installations, combining media: graphics, sculpture, painting, video, performance, photographs, textiles, the author creates a "theatre of life", a conventional performance that draws the audience's attention to ordinary everyday things.
