Malibu (Barbara Braccini) is a musician and composer who works primarily under the name Malibu. Her practice is rooted in ambient music treated as a deeply diaristic form, each composition a record of emotional experience shaped both personal as well as environmental inputs, and the passage of time. Working with synthesizers, layered vocals, and environmental sound design, her music occupies a space that is simultaneously atmospheric and acutely personal. She hosts the long- running monthly NTS show United In Flames, and her 2025 debut full-length album Vanities was released to widespread critical attention.
